The Role
You are expected to engage in hands-on SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) consulting work with customers for most of part of your time. You should have the desire and willingness to work in application management services related to incident management and change management. You will work in close collaboration with Capgemini’s offshore organization in India as well as the client on daily basis. You will also be involved in SAP HCM sales cases. You focus on building SAP HCM solutions and on maintaining, optimizing, and improving a client’s applications and systems. The work requires knowledge of HR processes and SAP HCM modules, as well as ability to implement solutions in those areas.
You will need an understanding of the system functionality of the specific application and solution area in SAP HCM, the ability to realize the customer’s business requirements in SAP implementation and in HR, basic knowledge of integration issues and good consulting skills.
You will design and implement the SAP solution based on the customer’s business operations’ needs and requirements. You will be responsible for successful lead-through and documentation of client meetings and workshops. Some of the assignments are based on business and functional requirements defined by the customer. You will bring up the possibilities for the SAP solution, expresses restrictions in the standard functionality and writes the definition document (business and technical blueprint) containing the SAP solution. Creating work estimates is also part of the consultant’s work.
Implementation work contains configuration and setting up the system as defined, and testing the solution throughout in order to verify the integration with other application areas. Planning and conducting SAP end-user training sessions, are also part of the work.
Essential skills / experience needed
Fluent Finnish and English, both verbal and written Suitable education, and prior experience in SAP Human Capital Management (HCM), at least two years as an end-user, key user or in consultancy role, and business experience in HR Strong communications skills and ability to influence at all levels including team members who work at remote location Ability to work with and manage Application Management Services with international teams and in virtual environment Good interpersonal and analytical skills with sales-oriented point of view Dedication to a career within a leading international consulting organization using Quality Management System Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) processes
Desirable skills
Relevant SAP certification is desirable
Candidate profile / personal qualities
You are expected to be a strong people manager, with good interpersonal skills and willingness to work in multicultural teams. You should show a collaborative attitude even in the most challenging situations and exhibit a strong ability to handle multiple demands with urgency, drive, and energy. You should possess the ability to plan and prioritize your own work.
