At the moment we are looking for our client experienced Construction Managers and Site Supervisors for Oil & Gas project in Kilpilahti.
Duties:
Ensure project progress according to the established installation schedule
Ensure timely requisition of resources such as labour materials, equipment for the project
Liaise with Purchasing Division on the delivery of purchased items for the project
Project planning and management
Project co-ordination, supervision and monitoring the progress of project works on site
Supervision of piping installation
Check the full and perfect implementation of procedures, specification, rules of art by the supplier
Ensure a proper implementation of modification on site
Verify the end of manufacturing reports issued by contractors
Supervise and follow the work of the contractors according to contract requirements
Ensure the production as expected by the time schedule
Able to anticipate the work
Able to validate a staffing plan in front of a production program
Ensure the coordination of piping activities with other activities
Check and solve technical interfaces within the scope of work
Able to establish event report in case of lack of involvement of the subcontractor
Gather the necessary data from contractors to calculate the weekly and monthly progress and efficiency
Ensure quality and safety of operation
Requirements
Minimum Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
Minimum 10 years construction site experience in installation supervision, preferably in piping installations
Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels of staffs
Construction Safety Course for Project Manager Certification will be an added advantage
Understanding of mechanical engineering in general
Working independently on targets and providing practical solutions
Good command of English, and Finnish both written and spoken
Computer literacy in MS-Office
OTHERS:
Working hours depending on the sites (on rotation basis)
