We are now seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the MixRadio team. We have a growing team working as part of the Entertainment organization, who are forging ahead to deliver fantastic Music experiences around the globe to millions of Nokia customers. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be contributing to the next generation of Music services, experiences and applications across our Asha portfolio. The ideal candidate for this position has several years of experience in application software development for mobile devices.

The following skills and experience are essential for the role:
4+ years experience in commercial software development projects
Proven experience on implementing software against RESTful APIs and HTTP protocols
A working knowledge of automated CI and testing solutions
Hands on experience of distributed version control solutions (such as GIT)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Effective and comfortable working within a dynamic and agile team environment
An excellent level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality
A proven ability to analyse, maintain and evolve existing solutions
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent
The following are beneficial:
Experience in developing scheme or Lisp applications for mobile devices
A working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Experience of creating and maintaining automated test solutions
Experience in developing both mobile client engine and UI
A passion for innovation
A strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Experience in mentoring or coaching junior software engineers
A working knowledge of the Asha O/S
