Outotec GmbH in Oberursel/Frankfurt, Department „Research & Development“ is looking for a Process Developer (f/m).
As Process Developer, you will:Mainly develop, optimize and assess technologies related to applications of fluidized bed technology From case to case be involved in similar work related to technologies related to emissions reduction, and/or iron making, processing of industrial water, energy conversion and minerals processing Carry on flowsheet optimization and simulations studies, for instance by using ASPENPlus as a tool Closely cooperate with our process and engineering departments involved in appropriate R&D projects After appropriate introduction manage your R&D projects and organize necessary test work to be done in Outotec Research centers and/or externally Support our business units in areas of process and equipment selection and take part in the commissioning of selected commercial and pilot plants including the preparation of necessary documentation Analyze, present and document results of the work you have done in project team To succeed, you will need:
University degree (preferably with PhD) in the field of chemical engineering or technical thermodynamics with focus on process technology or similar. To be initiative and able to prioritize your work and to balance between competing demands while delivering quality results. To be highly motivated, self managed and committed to to getting things done right first time Necessary skills and knowledge in common software such as MS Office and Lotus Notes. Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude regarding challenges coming from working in interdisciplinary teams and interesting topics. To be fluent in both spoken and written German and English (knowledge of further languages is beneficial).
