Design Engineer for Steel Structures, Oy Proselectum Ab, Duration approximately 6 months, Eurajoki
TVO is having the OL3 Nuclear Power Plant built by Areva and Siemens consortium and several of their subcontractors. We are now looking for the following professional to work for our client company Areva NP based in OL3 site:
Design Engineer for Steel Structures
to work as a part of the Steel Structure Design Team supporting the team leader. The position is located on OL3 construction site and the estimated duration is approximately 6 months.
The main duties include checking and technical approval of construction plans, fabrication and installation documents; subcontractors documents review; elaboration of Field Change Request and design modification for site adaptation; acting as technical interface to subcontractors; and preparation of specification including basic design. Besides this, preparing requisition files, repair plans and installation instruction is also part of the duties.
To succeed in this position, you should be educated as Technician, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineer and possess at least a couple of years of work experience on performing engineering on steel structures. Besides this, good knowledge on coordinating processes and fluency in English is mandatory. Due to the nature of work, you should be familiar with MS Office software and AutoCad, and as a person be flexible and capable on team work as well as working on own initiative.
