Deputy HSE Manager, Oy Proselectum Ab, Eurajoki
TVO is having the OL3 Nuclear Power Plant built by Areva and Siemens consortium and several of their subcontractors. We are now looking for the following professional to work for our client company Areva NP based in OL3 site:
Deputy HSE Manager
to work as a part of the HSE team located on OL3 construction site.
The main duties include management of the 10 H&S Officers appointed within operational teams; acting as a H&S partner for operational teams; and management of H&S on a large construction site. The Deputy HSE Manager will report to the HSE Manager.
To succeed in this position, you should possess strong skills in European H&S regulation and OHSAS 18001 standard and have previous experience in electro-mechanical installation and commissioning to be able to prepare risk analysis of the activities and propose alternative methods. Besides this, the knowledge on radiation protection is required, due to staff surveillance and work preparation and follow up according to ALARA principle. Due to the nature of work, you should have the capacity to analyse and possess a natural authority to make sure regulations and procedures are followed. Fluency in French and English is expected. Previous experience on a Nuclear Power Plant is highly appreciated.
