Software Engineer (Python, DevOps)
We are looking for experienced Pythonistas to join our R&D team in Helsinki. You will be part of our Key Manager Operations team pushing our products to their limits and ensuring our products meet the scalability and functional requirements of large enterprise customers and their processes and IT infrastructures. You will participate in product development in coordination with the product development team and assist customers during installations and deployment projects.
Responsibilities
Identify and participate in fixing performance bottlenecksDevelop and maintain tools to test the product’s scalability on large enterprise environments
Requirements
3+ years of experience in software development in large projects(s)Experience with Python and web application development frameworksIn-depth experience with Linux/Unix or Active DirectoryExcellent troubleshooting and problem solving skillsUnderstanding of agile software development practicesGood communication skills in English
We appreciate:
A degree in computer scienceA track record of Python development in a fairly large projectFamiliarity or previous experience with:o SSH protocol and SSH public key authentication
o Django
o Virtualization technology
o Linux or UNIX system administration
Oracle Database administration/optimization experienceUnderstanding of IT security and network technologies and protocolsAbility to travel
