Sr. RF Engineer, Tietoenator, Beijing
Description
We are looking for outstanding candidates to join us as full-time RF Engineers. Successful candidates will have developed high-performance, stable Hardware that has been successfully deployed in a global product. You will have a system-wide, architectural view of the solutions that you build. You will also have strong technical ability, a focus on the customer experience, great teamwork and communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will comprise:
•Planning, scheduling, designing, implementation and verification of RF Design
•Drive development of 3rd party RF key components, including specifications, following up and verification of the component.
•Transceiver system performance measurements and verification
•Component integration and qualification in NOKIA design.
•Handle key RF component milestones, changes, including planning, lab verification, documentation & review.
•Regular/review meeting host and hot-issue task force driver and support customer program
•Monitor component MFR in production, BFR, discussion with Program/supplier and drive the corrective action.
•Connecting with your interfaces within and without project stakeholders.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering (preferably a M.Sc. in telecommunications RF, electronics) and relevant background with proven track record in a technical discipline. Furthermore we expect:
•5+ years working experience, preferably in wireless handset design
•Good understanding in RF blocks, e.g. receiver, transmitter, PA/FEM, SAW/Duplexer, PLL
•Hands-on experience in RF trouble shooting and testing
•Experience in RF design tools and measuring equipments, e.g. communication tester, spectrum analyzer and network analyzer
•Knowledge about GSM/EDGE/WCDMA cellular systems
•Fluency in both written and spoken English
•Proactive approach to own task area
•Experience in interfacing with component suppliers
•Networking and communication skills
•Independent way of working and decisiveness
•Ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
