Danfoss Editron specializes in hybrid and electric powertrain systems for off-highway and marine markets and solutions for hydro power plants. As a business unit of Danfoss, it develops and manufactures high-performance power systems for heavy duty vehicles, machines and marine vessels and also generators for hydro power plants based on its unique synchronous reluctance assisted permanent magnet (SRPM) technology.

Danfoss Editron is looking for a Technical Sales Support Engineer for backing up our own sales network and direct customers in sales of electrical machines and drives for hydro and marine business areas.
If you take the challenge as our new Technical Sales Support Engineer, you will be responsible for preparation of quotations, answering to internal and external questions related to sales projects technical content and development of offering tools and systems for your own field. Crucial part of your work is also on time and good quality of support. This position is important part of the success in winning the orders and customer satisfaction. You work together in a team of professional electrical and mechanical engineers. Final tasks and areas of responsibilities may vary based on the experience, knowledge and potential of the chosen candidate.
Background and Skills
We are expecting you to have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. You need to have good technical competences in electrical machines and drives. It is mandatory that you have good English and Finnish skills, both verbal and written. Other languages, e.g. German, French or Italian can be beneficial. Furthermore, you'll need to have:
- Excellent communication skills towards own sales people and customers
- Experience of electrical machines and drives
- Experience of grid codes is a real benefit
- Desire for excellent customer service whether internal or external stakeholders
- Drive to learn and develop your own competences
- Experience of Matlab is an advantage
On a more personal level, you are service-minded, placing the customer at the center of your attention. You are energetic and passionate about your work and electrical systems. You are accurate and organized in everything you do. You could also be described as team-player and a good networker.
