Specialist, Product Development

As Specialist, Product Development you will work closely with product developers helping them in their everyday product development work. Your responsibilities will include raw-material preparation, assisting in sample making and packing samples for shelf life testing. As your skills grow, you will manage basic development projects by yourself. You will also manage sensory evaluations and consumer testing and take care of practicalities when arranging innovation events. As Specialist, you secure the quality and success of your area of responsibility.
You will be working in Lappeenranta but the position might require some travelling to other Fazer Factories in Finland. Position is fixed term until August 2021.

What you'll bring to the team?
You have a degree in Food Sciences or other relevant education and you are willing to grow as a professional in product development. You have an innovation capability to find new ideas and differentiated products and some knowledge/experience of food industry. You have good collaboration and interpersonal skills and you hold excellent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English, other company languages (e.g. Swedish) are benefits.
