Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is a research organisation working to promote bioeconomy and sustainable use of natural resources. Our research results and services generate added value and sustainability as well as scientific evidence to support decision making. We carry out research on forestry, agriculture, food, game, and fisheries. We also perform statutory services.

The aim of the position is to strengthen Luke`s research and taxonomic knowledge of arthropods that are of importance in agriculture and horticulture. The entomological scope of the position encompasses both agroecology practices and integrated pest management. The immediate work tasks include, among other things, research on crop traits, crop diversification practices in supporting beneficial arthropods, and entomological supervision in a Horizon 2020 project called SustInAfrica starting in September 2020.
